Colin Gunanayagam is a product owner with Marine Safety and Security at Transport Canada. He is currently leading the Seafarer Credentials Project, aiming to improve the quality of service delivered to all seafarers across the country. Prior to embracing the challenges of product ownership, he spent a number of years working closely with the seafarer certification process, recognizing the credentials of foreign seafarers preparing to work in Canada’s marine industry. Colin is passionate about agile software development, as he is a strong advocate for both the customer and end user.
