More logical decisions in local gov

This talk will review a case study: a particular city council that was divided over a local issue, and who applied a decision-making model to ensure a major decision was made in a methodical, inclusive, informed, and unbiased manner. This decision-making model was furnished by Jamie’s company.

In this talk, attendees will learn the various ways in which we fool ourselves into thinking we’re being logical, and all the ways in which we can make biased decisions. They will also learn how to create decision-making model that can include the reasoning and opinions from all stakeholders on an issue, which can be derived from various forms of media through which they are expressed: internal memos, recorded interviews, newspaper coverage, email exchanges and more.
