Dr. Vernie Oliveiro (she/her)
Principal Researcher, Institute of Governance and Policy Civil Service College, Singapore
Dr Vernie Oliveiro is Principal Researcher with the Institute of Governance and Policy at the Civil Service College. She leads the Institute’s work on Digital Government.
From 2016 to 2018, she served a secondment at the Ministry of National Development as Senior Assistant Director (Policy Strategy) in the Research and Strategy Management Division. Before joining the Singapore Public Service, Vernie was Lecturer in History at Harvard University. She was selected in 2015 as an Asia 21 Young Leader by the Asia Society.
Vernie is currently a core member of Teaching Public Service in the Digital Age, a global network of academics and practitioner-teachers co-designing learning resources on digital fundamentals for future public servants.
